With a prestigious moniker such as Alpha, these cameras have a few tiny upgrades from the original models that can make a world of difference in shooting. These differences include tripod mounting capabilities and lugs on the back to attach a camera strap. The interior mechanism is slightly different than the original models, but not in a way that is perceptible to the user.
